Warhawk patch 1.2 to fix tank glitch, add integrated Store, rumble support

Not only is Incognito hard at work on Warhawk 1.1, they're working on another future patch, 1.2. This revision will finally take care of that dreaded "tank" glitch, which according to the PlayStation.blog also affected turrets and Warhawks. Additionally, the patch will include a new integrated Store interface, so you can download upcoming Booster Packs from within the game.

The 1.2 update also adds rumble support for DualShock 3 controllers. Of course, this will be a moot point for most -- the controllers won't be commercially available in the US this year anyways.

So when is this magical update supposed to appear? In December. Until then, we'll have to patiently wait for patch 1.1.

4. wait, we have to wait till December to have them fix a glitch that severely disrupts a match?

5. @4. I think the author of this post is mistaken. The Booster Pack is supposed to come out in December. The bug fixes will probably come out before.

6. Separate SIXAXIS motion control on/off per mode (ground, hover, flight)

This is a big one(for me). The only reason I don't use motion for flying is because you have to use motion for driving as well which is horrible.

8. How is the DualShock 3 a moot point until next year... yesasia.com is taking preorders for black and white DS3's for 11/11 delivery.

9. according to the forums, the bug fixes will be before end of october, and other bug fixes in december with an update [Incluing the In Game Store, but the booster pack may not be a part of this and may not be the same day too]. The october bug fixes will be the stats and such, and december patch bug fixes will include the exploits [ie- invisibles], among other things.

11. Pink,

You can only use split-screen in non-ranked matches. When you are in a non-ranked game with the split-screen box checked the second player just pushes the start button and the screen splits. If you are having trouble finding a server that allows split-screen, you can host your own.
