Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of October 21

Merry Christmas! Well, not quite yet perhaps - but the holiday season officially begins this week with the first huge weekly game drop which should continue on through to the beginning of December. Disappointed with the PS3's current lineup? You've come to the right place - the full release list is as follows:

US Games
  • Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
  • The Eye of Judgment
  • Clive Barker's Jericho
  • Conan
  • Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
  • Ratatouille
EU Games
  • Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
  • Clive Barker's Jericho
  • The Eye of Judgment
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
Asian Games
  • The Eye of Judgment
  • Imabi Kisou
Pro tip time! We've received word that Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is being shipped early by the online retailer Play.com - and by "early" we mean "now". So if you can't wait until Friday (and we have a feeling a lot of you can't) then what are you waiting for? We're really happy to see Eye of Judgment being released in all three territories during the same week. The cards will be released at the same time in booster packs and preconstructed decks. All together now - "Goodbye moneys!"

Don't forget your PS3 is region free for games so put you importing gloves (what do you mean you don't have a pair?) on and do your thing. We certainly have. Release dates are in a constant state of flux so check with your local store before you head out into the Real World.

1. I'll be picking up the first 2 for sure. Damn, I wish PES had all the licenses like FIFA. Stupid EA has a monopoly on everything.

4. but wait, i thought the PS3 had no games? *rolls eyes*

Rachet, and Eye of Judgment are my top picks, though i have no idea how i'm going to get the dough for them.

Jericho's a rental for sure, and not much on the list interests me. still, Ratchet and Eye should be plenty to tide me over until Assassin's Creed and Uncharted hit next month. not to mention i'm trying to finish Folklore anyway. and Resistance (still haven't beat that yet, and i've had it since February).

8. What a month. Last week there was Folklore. Now there's Eye of Judgment and Ratchet and Clank.

I don't care what others say. I'm fairly happy with my PS3 :P

I know you might be a little young, but lets talk about how time works. I'll even teach you some grammatical skills on the side. When something is in the present, we use the word "has". When something happened before the present, this is called the "past". We use the word "had". Now, since next week is in what we call the "future", you can't go around blindly using past tense words! IE "had". We don't have it yet, so you can't act like it's past tense.

I'm excited for R&C, but to say our "lack of games" is over I gotta disagree still. I played the Jericho demo and the Conan demo, was supremely disappointed, especially Conan. EoJ...not really my thing. It's nice to see games being released though.

12. After a year + of commenting I finally bought a PS3 last night!

$438 for the 80GB

R&C FTW.

Though I have to kick my son off as he FINALLY is playing SOCOM (PS2) online!)

13. ^^^ congrats Kspraydad

hope you enjoy

14. If you wanna pick up EoJ, you might want to do it pretty fast. Some Gamestop employees I know said that all Gamestops had to stop taking reserves on that game. They are only getting a certain number shipped to their stores, and that number has equaled their reserves.

15. @11

First off, he was using correct grammar.

Secondly, I'd figure out what sarcasm is before I go around getting on people for grammar.

Anyway, I'm pickin' up Ratchet and Jericho.

Posted at 1:24PM on Oct 22nd 2007 by Xboxbydegrees

18. Please, can somebody tell me how to import winning eleven 2008 im from America and I dont want to wait untill Feb.2008 to enjoy it. PLease I tried amazon uk but no luck. I dont like FIFA and we all know why.

Posted at 2:08PM on Oct 22nd 2007 by emir989

19. I'm getting EoJ right away. I can wait a bit for R&C, but will definitely buy it.

@16. What does that have to do with anything? Have fun playing Halo3. Boring, un-innovative shooters, with poor graphics and mechanics aren't for me. I imagine if I had never played a shooter before it would probably be awesome though. Orange Box is good though... for PC.

20. @16

Great. Did you buy Fifa 08 on PS3? (you should have considering you have a PS3 and its actually better on PS3)If you did I'm up for a game.
