The Japanese patent office has a really neat logo in its system right now -- Sony has apparently filed for a new image to represent its console. Look at it. Doesn't it just scream "Sony ownz teh worlds1!1!!!1one!" or at the very least, "Sony goes global"? We doubt we'll see this logo at the startup of our PS3 or, in a decade, PS4 games, but if it get implemented anywhere, it's probably going to be the symbol for any new download service or be a part of some online functionality.
It could be something as miniscule as a little ball that rotates, telling you that a webpage is loading or a download is in progress. Or it could be a concept of the next controller that you implant directly into your eye -- after you remove your worthless one that actually sees. That makes
perfect sense to us, but we've been wrong before. If this gets used at all, what do you think it'll be used for?

1. Would be a cool logo for the Global PlayStation Network.
