3. Costco indeed. I hope they have a Daxter pack at costco by the time this ships so I can blow all my hard earned cash in one fell swoop.

4. According to the original press release:
http://www.scee.presscentre.com/Content/Detail.asp?ReleaseID=4365&NewsAreaID=2
perhaps any game that uses the Eye will have the software on that massive BD disk?
Or perhaps it'll be a downloadable released on the same day as launch?

7. I have to agree about these packages. They're too hard to open, and sometimes I get hurt trying. It shouldn't be like that.
I mentioned this a friend of mine at Microsoft (who also uses the packages for a lot of Xbox 360 stuff) and they said that retailers such as Best Buy demand the tough plastic to prevent theft.
I say, we as consumers should make demands of retailers to stop using this type of plastic and find another alternative that's easier to open.
I mean, the food industry used to have plastic for hamburgers or whatnot-- but then switched due to complaints from consumers. Can't we get together and somehow get the game industry to follow suit?
I'm not an environmetalist or anything, but I'd really like to see this happen.

10. I imagine the stand is in the back of the package. It's not real sexy so they hid it.

16. I don't see how that could be the package. There are a lot more parts to the whole set than whats in that package. It doesn't look like it includes the PSeye stand or the mat you need to place the cards on. 2 essential parts needed to play the game... I doubt that's the real packaging, at least for most stores. I think it'll come in a box.

17. The best way to open blister packs is, drum roll please... (tatatata... ta!) Using a box-cutter! Only a few bucks at your local hardware store, and will save you countless fingers - just be sure to use a hard and flat surface that you're not too fond of to avoid injury, and take your time. =) I have not lost a finger yet! =P

18. Blister pack, yuk! My suggestion, Google OpenX and see if that works for you.

19. @ ALL
The mat is a flat cloth that can fit in the blister pack between the marketing inside. The stand is likely sticking out of the back of that package in its own little bubble since it comes in pieces and needs a little assembly. If this is the package, I predict right now a lot of people cutting through the cloth and bitching online, right here.
@ 15
Those guys are tools. The package is sweet, though likely an E3 exclusive. I repeat, those guys are TOOLS!
@16
I agree, and believe some places will get the box. This is most likely something you'd see at Costco.

1. Looks like a Costco thing. I'll be forced to pick up a pail of onion dip and 20 gallons of laundry detergent at the same time.
