We contacted Patrick Seybold, Sony's Senior PR manager, about the ongoing network issues and he confirmed that Sony is indeed aware of it and are actively working on a fix. When he gets more details, he said he'd pass it on to us and of course we'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.
It's frustrating when a minor firmware patch breaks something major, but it's good to know that Sony is actively researching methods to ease our pain. Put down your pitchforks and torches folks, hopefully we'll all be playing Warhawk again soon.

This is officially the most useless update ever. No new features and it screws up the online. Why was this released again?

I had the problem a few hours before the firmware went live, and little difficulty afterward. Five minutes or so of patience solved it, though. Not sure such a thing exists anymore.

I did the delete cache and it seemed to work, however Stats are still busted. I've played for the last 2 days and no stats updates.
The game is still incredible fun, however, you do feel a little shafted you win a bunch of medals and ribbons and all you get is bubkus and a smile.

I'd be pissed about this if there were even enough Warhawk Servers in my country. Why make an online only game then limit the number of players (on good servers) in Australia to 60? Idiots...

So then why does Sony not post something on thier website the moment they know something is wrong? I can't stand the way they handle PR.

redoing my network connecting and running the test fixed it for me, its not that hard to do lots of people with the same problem on the playstation boards, the ones that were smart enough to read the non flame threads, saw the fix, so can we please put the fix up on the page "redo internet connection settings"

Problems happened for me right after I updated. I've been reading forums and trying some of the suggestions that people have made. So far I've rebooted, turned my wireless internet on and off, did a connection test (ip address - check, internet - check, psn - instantneously fails) cleared my cookies and my cache, and recreated another account. Nothing has worked.
The weirdest part is how the PSN INSTANTLY fails...it doesnt even take a moment to try. It's just *blink* failed. I asked some of my friends if they're having an issue and they are all fine. The only thing I've noticed is that I have a linksys router, and neither of them do. Is there anyone else that's having a problem who uses a link sys router?
