New Tekken 6 character revealed -- Bob

Bob is a martial arts genius. When he was a bit younger, he had a handsome face and a toned body that complimented this fighting intelligence perfectly. You could say, in Tekken 6, he would have blended right in with many of the other male fighters. But Bob ran into a problem -- he couldn't beat any opponents "larger" than he. So, he decided to take a few years off the fighting circuit and "train" himself to become larger than any opponent. Thus, Bob went on the "all donut all the time" diet and grew rotund enough to take out anyone.

Tekken 6 is getting a pretty colorful cast of characters, no? This new scan talks about Bob, the newest revealed character, as well as mentioning that a media showing in mid-September will have the latest build of the game playable in Japan. Or something. We can't read Japanese too well. Either way, we're glad to see the cast of one of the biggest fighting game continue to grow.

1. They must have based this character off of that Gabe Newell guy that works at Valve.

2. That character looks exactly like Theo van Gogh, the Dutch film director was murdered by a muslim extremist a couple of years ago...

3. #1: he does kinda look like Gabe. No, wait. He looks a LOT like Gabe. They should have him fighting with chicken drumsticks in both hands though, or spoons filled with gravy.

4. I knew before I read any of the comments that someone would reference Mr. Newell. They actually look nothing alike.

7. Finally a game that gives the gamer a chance to truely feel he is part of the game. No more over muscular He-man types, I'm sure that for most of you when you see this character its like looking in the mirror. I'm sure they created this character for the American gamers, so they have some one they can relate to.

10. Chris Farley, Beverly Hills Ninja, classic!

I think they are trying to say some things about how we Americans are getting fatter as each day goes by, LQTM!

This guy is, by far, my favorite character now!
Who would have ever guessed that's his name...

12. This guy is dedicated to the average american gamer, or perhaps to the average american, hehe.

13. Oh god. This is not happening. The new characters are going from bad to worse. What's happening. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

14. obviously poking fun at microsoft bob.

15. I love that tekken always has a variety of characters, unlike DOA thats one half jiggling superwomen, and one half generic dudes of varying styles. I enjoy that everyone can have their favorite character, and there are different enough from each other to enjoy learning them all.
