As the guy who sent this in to us said, if you can watch this without cracking a smile, you probably don't have a soul. Here's another example of the possibilities within LittleBigPlanet -- out of nothing, two players create large cardboard boxing fighters complete with stickers matching their personality (we love the hairy chest on the left fighter) and duel to the death! It's a really fun video and you get a good deal of insight into the workings of LBP. We should all train to be able to create such crazy ideas and beyond!
[Thanks, McComber!]

A game that creates a new genre; beach game. Because the sandbox is too confining for a game like this.

i was thinking. People have been stating (mostly on N4g) that this game is a system seller. I was just curious do you guys think downloadable games are system sellers?
Warhawk does not count for this topic since it will be on Disc

andres It'll be available on Blu-Ray as well containing all the user created content yet up to that point. Or a selection of the better stuff. So I don't know what you are on about. And also, yes! A downloadable game can and will be a system seller. You know why? Because you have to have the system to play the game. Obviously :s Look at Geometry Wars for an example.

Looks a lot more entertaining than real-life robot boxing:

in reply to 6. It's a totally different style of game kid. Not to mention that Halo 3 looks just as dated as Halo 2 did when it came out and as dated as Halo 1 was when it was released. Console shooters will always be behind PC shooters in terms of design and gameplay. As far as LBP goes I can't wait. It's about time a company started utilizing the new hardware to create new gameplay ideas, not just prettier games. Graphics are the least important part of any game, we need more games like this on the next gen consoles. I don't mean in this genre, I mean games that are actually creative and furthing game design as a whole.

We need much better moderation of the comments section on ps3fanboy. LBP defintely looks like it has potential to keep alot of people entertained for a long time. I just don't think I'm one of them.

LBP is the natural progression of games that create a simulated world and allows you to "play" in that world. What many people (myself included) like about this is the freedom this kind of game gives people. I can understand that some people will not like this game (or it's types) since they need more structure in order to enjoy playing a game (like Halo or MGS). The only kind of people I reject (and would eject from this hobby) are those who cannot see the validity of different genres and the appeal of them to others. And for those who only enjoy one single genre and feel that they are superior, let me just say that when the bubble bursts (like it always does), then you will have to leave the hobby. The fact that so many people play so many different games should tell you - you are the exception and not the rule. =/ All fanboyism aside, this game looks just as interesting visually then most of the "big sellers" on other systems, even if it's not you're "cup o' frag"
