During the
Folklore presentation by the game's designer Yoshiki Okamoto at Sony's PR space, 3Rooms, some details on planned downloadable content were shown. Six download packs, or "Quest Packs", have been planned. Each pack will contain the following:
- 4 new quests
- 1 new costume
- 1 new monster
At the moment there is something that looks suspiciously like the first Quest Pack on the Japanese PSN Store. It weighs in at about 24MB and is downloadable for free. We obviously love the idea of these packs being free. Unlike
some downloadable content. We also caught a glimpse of the concept designs for Ellen's costumes and they look great. There's one for each of the seven areas of the game, with an extra one being added with each of the six Quest Packs.

Ah, cool, thanks for letting us know what this is. I sent you guys a comment asking about it, but I suppose you guys never had a chance to see it.
Since it's out in Japan already, odds are it might be ready by release in the US!
...I can dream, anyway.

I wasn't paying too much attention to this game until I saw the trailer from the PS network, and I was totally impressed. I hope a demo comes to the states, but more, I hope the freakin game comes, this game looks like an amazing surprise, and I'm afraid of it's being overlooked. The graphics are amazing and the story looks really well done. This game shows artistry and story arc that I wouldn't have expected from something released early in ps3's life.

No "quest packs" up on the PSN Network when I checked on Update Friday (Yes, updates are Friday here... not Thursday).
What is currently up is the 2nd downloadable Folk. The first one was a flying pig and was a limited time offering. The game's internal browser website lets you know the time frame and etc etc. This 2nd one is the mascot of Famitsu Weekly. They stink therefore they are free.

Oh, it's just a new monster? That's interesting... still, I'd be really happy with random new monsters too. Especially specialty ones like mascots and such.
