Sony has given us a peak at what we're getting tomorrow during the weekly refresh of the PlayStation Store, and it clucks. Chickens that is; we're getting Piyotama, the adorable egg based puzzle game that was released in Japan a couple months back. The game has an interesting and attractive art style, but early impressions of the Japanese version were pretty lackluster. Similar to GoPuzzle, it seems like another generic attempt at a standard puzzler.
No price has been announced yet, though going by historical trends you can assume about a $7 cost. Also no word on if there is a free trial version or not, but we should find that all out tomorrow when we hear about the full content refresh.

That looks an awful lot like Diamonds (Or whatever that game where you arrange crystals in lines or columns is called)

The 360 got a Stranglehold demo today. I guess the PS3 version has been delayed so there's not much hope of a PS3 demo tomorrow, is there?

GRT: I wouldn't bet on anything at this point. We could have anything from FF VII and a Lair demo all the way down to Piyotama and a couple of trailers. And that's if we're lucky and Piyotama doesn't get delayed.
I don't sound bitter, do I?

Like 5% of the male population I'm colour blind - I'll give this colour-matching game a miss (not just for this reason though!).

One week we get two great demos in GRAW 2 and The Darkness and this week it looks like we get a cheap cash in on a game we can play for free online just with out the chickens or eggs. I like puzzle games too. I bought Go Puzzle. Think I'll pass Sony.

It is sad that so few males are not racist. But how does that tie into a puzzle game?
