Eurogamer has posted a list of their most wanted games on the PS3 for 2007 and, in doing so, have produced possible the most concise list of the console's lineup this year. With a short blurb on each game, including release date and link to screenshots, this is a great page to forward to your friends if they're on the fence about getting a PS3 this year. Even with
GTA IV's
recent delay, there's enough there to make our wallets weep in terrified anticipation.
Check below for their top 5, then
click through for the rest. Though, we're curious. Where are
Guitar Hero III and
Folklore? Are there any other games they've missed?

I think I am the only one in the world who hates those guitar/rhythm games.

You ain't the only one bro, I think those guitar/band games are way over hyped. I haven't met one person in my neighborhood who is awaiting some rock game.
Besides that, Uncharted Definitely, HS yes, and COD4 maybe, I mean come on its not like COD3 was that good.
For me Though the list goes
Uncharted
Ratched and Clank
HS
Lair

Um... that list is awful. Call of Duty should not take top spot. Are they forgetting about Haze and Unreal? Or is this for kiddies?

1) MGS4: No need to explain...
2) Heavenly Sword: The cinematic quality of this game is so unique and thorough that I'd like to give it a shot.
3) Call of Duty 4: The trailers speak for themselves. Incredible.
4) Ratchet & Clank: Because of their good reputation with Resistance Fall of Man and as a good corporate citizen, I'll buy this game, but I might not. Insomniac's being the good company and corporation to everyone but me, it seems. I feel slighted.
5) Grand Theft Auto: I'll buy it because they seem somewhat fair to both the PS3 and XBOX360, but I won't play the game. Maybe for visitors who might want to play their games...
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is pretty good enough for me. It's hard to get bored with this game. Beat it. Leave it a lone for a few months. Play it again. Same feeling of "wow" comes back. Rinse, repeat, always fun ...

If I had to choose only one game from my list above, I'd pick MGS4. I've never played MGS before, but I just love the idea of a sneaky, tactical gameplay versus the run-and-gun variety that stresses me out. The graphics, story, and art direction are master level and probably more cinematic than Heanvely Sword's, if not the same. Absolutely nothing bugs me, except that sometimes, as shown in the gameplay demo, Snake would shoot one of the two enemies standing together but the other guy just moves on like nothing happened...

@Secret
You do realize both MGS4 and GTA aren't coming out in 2007, right? and you'll buy but not play GTA IV, what kind of monster are you?
