Just by chance, we decided to give Blast Factor another go this morning. Perhaps it was fate, or perhaps we were reminded how fun it is by the promise of an soon-to-be-released expansion on the PlayStation.Blog. Either way, when we started the game we were greeted by a message on the menu screen. It read as follows: "A new Blast Factor expansion pack is available to download. Please visit the PLAYSTATION@Store to find out more!"
Of course, with no new updates to the UK or US store as of yet, there's nothing there. We're hoping that means we'll be seeing Advanced Research when the store update hits. We'll let you know when that happens and what it contains.

Do you have the previous add on pack? That's the message that still pops up on the title screen of Blast Factor if you haven't purchased the previous add on (the one that adds multiplayer and speed).

I get that message because of the multiplayer pack. I still find it ridiculous they expect me to pay even more for a feature it should have had in the first place.
Semi off topic, but does anybody else have this happen? From the time I start Blast Factor from XMB to the time anything shows up (Esrb logo) is about a good minute and 30 seconds...

Also its always been there since the multiplayer, which costs money and the game isnt all that great, I mean I rarely play it and to pay how much for a multiplayer pack, pffft no way!

Well we get this same message in Blast factor here in the UK and yet even after the store update yesterday there is no expansan pack for Blast Factor. I just popped into the game this morning and the message is STILL there.
