When the Go! Sports Ski trailer appeared on the PlayStation Store, we can't say we were too impressed. Sports games are a dime a dozen, and it appears that Go! Sports Ski will have unique Sixaxis motion-controls. In fact, that's the only way it'll be controlled.
This downloadable title will be available on the Store later this year, and will feature global rankings and online play for up to four players. Stay tuned for more details.
Go! Sports Ski to exclusively use motion controls

@pete:
They're fun little pick-up-and-play casual games and they're exclusive to the PSN. I think it's cool to get diversity in the lineup.

I wonder if this will just be ski game or if it will have Snowboarding also. I like Snowboarding games more. So if that could also be added that would be nice.

Why is everyone so negative all the time... I think its great they are adding various different and unique games to the PSN. I'm sure you all that are complaining will get your types of games too, you just need to be patient.

@7 - I am not complaining about the new and unique games.
I am complaining about hearing - this is coming to PSN, and this game, and this demo, and this movie, etc...
And nothing ever shows up. For it being out for this amount of time, the amount of content on PSN is a joke.
I am all for getting it to work - if there was something to try.

The writer didn't say why this was unimpressive. So I will:
The music.
Sure, we can all see, graphically and probably control and fun-wise, this is probably like a $20-$30 PS2 game, only CLEAR.
We can accept that.
The way to make this better, and we know you have room unless this is really the best code your people can do...
Is to add about 190 songs from various genres.
Sure, drum n bass, deathmetal, punk, fast stuff.
But also trance, chillout, hip-hop, even country, like fast-pickin blue grass. Maybe some psychedelic pieces, rap, alternative, even classical.
That would be the stuff, that's like 10 songs per genre. And you could have it update with seasonal songs, xmas etc.
Okay, I went to far

Is it me, or does anyone else think that the sixaxis controls might be counter-intuitive to this kind of game if done poorly... =( I was looking forward to this, but now - I just don't know! ='(

I am excited about this game, I am a skier and the selection is very limited - sports games might be a dime a dozen, but not skiing games, I was only able to find Bode Miller for the PS2, and it was fine, but didn't allow for tricks or even side by side racing and got boring quickly.
I just hope I can master the motion control and be the king of the mountain!
