Dev for SEGA Rally Revo calls PS3 and Xbox 360 "equal"

Add yet another console comparison to the pile. This time around, the flame bait can't really be cast either way. SEGA Racing Studio boss Guy Wilday came out calling both consoles equal on development opportunities. SEGA Rally, an arcade favorite since 1995, is making its way to both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 in a title appropriately called, SEGA Rally Revo (gallery below). According to Guy Wilday, both games look fairly identical when comparing graphics, saying "you're really hard pushed to tell the difference." In sync with earlier confirmations made on the PS3 development, he stated, "the learning curve is steeper in that you have to do certain things to get the most out of the platform." It may come as a shock to some developers, but this appears to be concise proof that simultaneous development for both platforms can prove successful with identical results. Now lets get to the good stuff and make that PS3 really shine. SEGA Rally Revo makes its way to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms this September.

2. well since that guy said it, that settles it.. ps3 and 360 are twins!!

3. "i think that dumbass was porting from a 360 to an elite!!"

I have heard that is really tricky. Because you have to phone Microsoft and ask for a new 360 because they keep breaking. (just had to say it sorry)

4. Just because they look similar doesn't make the machines equal. It just means they didn't take the extra time to get the most out of the PS3.

5. Hector Martinez, and what makes you think they took the extra time to get the most out of the 360?

hmm so the ps3 has had no issues? along with sonys other succes, the pspee?
Actually Ive had my 360 since launch, never had an issue.
theres always going to be a small percentage of faulty consoles.
Actually it would be nice to see the PS3 suceed, they built some relly high end spec, and deserve SOMETHING. even though I hate sony the bunch of lying terds
but all this talk about how much more powerful it is blah blah, yet Ive yet to see ANYTHING that says "holy crap, the 360 cant do that"
