Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of June 4th

Move along. Nothing to see here. Remember last week when I said June would be a much better month for game releases? Apparently I was wrong - with regards to the first week, at least. Check it out.

US Games
  • No new releases
EU Games
  • No new releases
Asian Games
  • No new releases
Pretend Games
  • Cutlery Wars XXIV: Quest for the Silver Teaspoon
Honestly. There's nothing out for the PS3 this week. Anywhere. If you live in my mind, however, you can pick up the latest in the long running Cutlery Wars saga. Some people say that the quality has fallen as the series has continued, but don't let that stop you. Think of the teaspoons.

Seriously, though. June will get better. We'll have a couple of games released next week and after that we've got titles like Singstar, The Darkness, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and FolksSoul to look forward to over the coming month or two.

1. Cutlery Wars XXIII: Sporks! was the bomb!! Can't wait for the new one. Hopefully they will include the non serrated butter knives.*crossing fingers*

Seriously though, get out side and get some sun. They don't have a color called "Gamer White" for nuthin'.

2. Wow, a single release in 2 weeks for Worldwide PS3 releases. Oh well, i'm enjoying the weather.
The games will pick up though.

3. Those damn Japanese devolopers need to get some new series. I am so tired of Cutlery Wars. They have all sucked except for Cutlery Wars IV:Running with knifes. That is a classic. Cutlery Wars XXIII: Sporks was the worst.

I have never been more excited to get to fall, for the games;not school.

6. This is kinda lame.. i have zero PS3 games (sold off RFoM and MotorStorm).. Just bought Metal Slug Anthology. Most of the time im just folding.

:(

7. I agree #6
All I own is motorstorm, and im not even a big fan of racing games.
I would buy oblivion if I didnt already own for PC and beaten it.
We need more games! and more PSN games. Im finding myself playing my PS2 games more than anything.

And I thought 360 had a bad slump in its first year. Yes I own a 360, and a Wii. both sitting along side my PS3. Im a gamer, not a fanboy.

9. Right now is a dry spell for all consoles it seems like.

Does anyone know if there is a snowboarding game coming to the PS3?
~Using sixaxis to tilt a snowboard could be awesome

Does anyone have any info about the mysterious PS3 game called Afrika?
~Even Phil Harrison probably can't get any info on this game. I am so intrigued.

12. @massive

Shaun White is supposed to have a game out this year and this has been confirmed by Ubisoft...they haven't confirmed which consoles.
http://www.ubi.com/US/News/Info.aspx?nId=3777

As for Afrika...

I've seen a release date mentioned of Dec 31 so it probably pie in the sky...maybe a E3 reveal?

13. I can't even put into words how happy I am to be in the warhawk beta right now. Even if it freezes and drops the connection a lot still, it's all sorts of awesome the majority of the time, and it's great to have a new ps3 title to play right now.
At least we're still getting a good ps2 title. Looking forward to a little more tomb raider, hope it's as good as it was the first time. The rest of the month is looking presentable on the ps3 as well.

14. Hey massive_98 do your research my friend before posting, Cutlery Wars XXIV: Quest for the Silver Teaspoon has been announced as a timed exclusive for the PS3 but is expected to be delayed and the 360 version will beat the PS3's original release date anyway.

Great posts, atleast we still have a sense of humour

15. @Kspraydad

unfortunately R6:Vegas (June 26, 2007) has been delayed yet again...

all i have is frowny faces for that... :(...

i remember when it was supposed to be a launch title and when it got delayed i put it on reserve and since then it seems i get a new email from gamestop almost weekly telling me i have to wait another month or 2 weeks... its killing me to be honest

16. That's OK, my PS3 is only a month old, and I've got plenty to keep me busy with F1:CE, Tiger Woods and NFS: Carbon.

Posted at 8:22AM on Jun 4th 2007 by Galley

17. I think the fact that PS3 Owners are getting a new Ninja Gaiden this month should legally estop any of them from complaining about releases in the next few weeks.

Posted at 8:56AM on Jun 4th 2007 by KilgoreTrout XL

18. One word: BRUTAL!

Where the hell are the games? Are they holding out for Christmas? Jeeezus! WTF?

Posted at 8:57AM on Jun 4th 2007 by FrankTheCrank

19. -Still need to beat RFOM
-Still need to buy Motorstorm
-Been chopping away at Oblivion
-Been chopping away at PS2 games I either haven't beaten, or purchased long ago and still haven't played yet!
-Still need to buy Kingdom Hearts 2
-Still need to buy Odin Sphere
-Still need to buy .hack//G.U. pt2

Can you tell im a 9-to-5 cubicle worker?
