While we're not accustomed to saying this, the gallery we've gathered up for
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is pretty much videogame porn. Not that it's lewd or sexual, but because when you look at it, your little synapses that regulate your excitement for a game go off like crazy, sending you into a schoolgirl-like shrill-fest. Thus, this gallery. The game looks brilliant and exactly what we'd expect from Naughty Dog. The game might turn into a better showcase for the PS3 than many other anticipated titles. We can't be sure yet, though. So ... we'll keep you posted. Until then, check out a video after the cut.

IF this is for real...
I wanna know how the ps3 haters will spin this. Please indulge me. AS for the wii fanboys, who insist it's all about gameplay, even if this game supposedly only has 60% of the gameplay fun it "could've had" with a wiimote and nunchuck(yeah right, like red steel, far cry, splinter cell), the graphics being 1000000000% better than what the wii can ever handle, i would ASSUME, makes up for whatever lacking in gameplay you may claim. The jungle actually looks... like a jungle, unlike wii's far cry. Let me just look at that video one more time before i send this comment...
... so sexy - the graphics, not the hero! Is it just me or does this game look as good if not better than gears but instead of an apocalyptic setting, it's in paradise. FarCry meets Tomb Raider meets Indiana Jones meets Prince of Persia. I hope the controls will be more responsive than tomb raider though. I'm still doubting this is in game cause the shadows for example look very smooth with aa as if it was pre-rendered, unlike in motorstorm, and the heavenly sword footage where the shadows look washed out and aliased like gears of war. Perhaps they figured out how to tap into ps3's full potential? I checked gamespot's story and they confirmed the graphics were in game and very realistic...! Anyone else thinks this looks a shit load better than mass effect ever since that game's graphics were downgraded (smirks as 360 fanboys)? Maybe Ubisoft could've made assassin's creed look this good had they not chosen to go multiplatform. I know the screens and video for that game is still during the game's early developement, but it sux ass compared to this. Going off topic now, y is assassin's creed, which is supposed to have advanced ai for the crowd of people and acrobatics, going to the 360 also, when everyone knows the ps3 can handle ai and physics better?

Looks impressive. First Ninja Gaiden Sigma, now this. With Lair and Warhawk, this is about to be a good year even without MGS4 and FFXIII.

Can you even go 24 hours without going "into a schoolgirl-like shrill-fest" over the PS3?

All you have to go on is blind trust for Sony, which hasn't historically turned out very well.
Now, if you might can the bloated superlative in your comment, maybe we can see this game for what it is...another bullet on the "Buy PS3 NOW because games are coming LATER" gag. I'm not going to buy a system based on anything except what games are out NOW. Not LATER. Sorry Sony, you have to earn your install base...and not with what you did last gen.
