New PlayStation Store stuff released just for you!

Yes, just for you. Exactly like how those Girls Gone Wild commercials say that "these girls can't wait to get naked just for you" -- don't believe us? Watch Comedy Central after the Colbert Report. Sorry, claims like that are really annoying. It's just for me, not you. Anyway, the PS-Store has released a few new things for you to enjoy. Sadly, no demos. But there is a PS-One classic for your PSP!

If you just can't wait for flOw, there's an HD video up for download and what can we say? It looks darn sexy. Sounds sexy, too. There's also a new game for the PSP, 2 Xtreme, which some could say is the sequel to a cult hit. There's also a movie trailer for Lucky You, but whatever. Maybe after the European launch we'll see some demos. Until then, we're counting the days to flOw and that rubber duckie game... Super Rub-a-Dub. Best idea ever. This yellow duckie can't wait to take a bath, just for you!

[Thanks for sending this in, guys!]

1. PS3 having downloadable PS1 and PS2 games I missed and that I might no longer find at my local retail store, and *playable* on the PS3 would be a huge seller for me. I mean, is this stuff actually working? You need an expensive PSP, an expensive PS3 and A LOT of expensive memory sticks just to play PS1 on the go? A little bit ridiculous, don't you think?

I wonder if these games are actually selling an amount worth considering, and if PS3 actually lifted PSP and memory sticks sales a significat amount (I bet not).

Sony, hurry up with the god damned interesting games/features of your PS3, damn it! I want one, but I wanna justify my purchase other than it being a Blu-ray player and a backwards compatible console!!!

2. Well, Sony announced that the PS1 games will be playable with the PS3 in the future. Just be patient homie, I mean, the PS3 just came out....Geeez.

And what's wrong with it being a Blue-ray player for now? have you watched a 1080P movie lately? I don't think I'll ever buy a DVD after HD. Just relax, the hot games will come, hell, Vitual Fighter is coming in a few day. EGM gave it almost a perfect score.

3. @2 I just picked up an import of Virtua Fighter 5...OH MY GOD. it's amazing. you'll be thrilled when you get it.

4. Keysersoze:

There IS something wrong with the PS3 being right now mostly a Blu-ray player if you bought it or want it just for games. I don't want it just for games, but I don't want it just for Blu-ray either (even though I've already watched 9/11 in Blu-ray in 1080i, which looks fabulous). I'm going to buy it anyway, but there is no reason to rush into buying it, unless sony hurries up in delivering the cool features. The longer Sony takes, the longer I'll delay my purchase. Besides, those features should have been there on day one (that is, if Sony wanted to guarantee more purchases instead of sluggish sales).

I want a PS3. I already have a 360 (which was a present; a mistake if I had bought it), but I think the PS3 will be much better, and I'm going to buy cross-platforms on PS3 because I can't stand the label Microsoft (I don't care for gamerpoints anyway).

5. This IS why the PS Network SUCKS......come on guy's old A$$ PS1 games that SUCK!!! Why are WE still waiting for the Tekken:DR?? Let's get some GOOD games on the Network!!

6. @6 - damn straight! sucks ass. since it was a year late because of "blu-ray" issues, they should have had more games ready at launch and for download.
i can't believe people are excited when they announce a few lousy ps1 games. the whole library should be up there.

7. 2Xtreme was a fun game...I just don't know if the graphics would be acceptable to today's standards. I wonder if I still have that game lying around somewhere?
