THQ CEO Brian Farrell had a conference call recently and thanks to PS3Fanboy tapping all major developer's phone lines (not really... but that would yield some priceless news!), we've learned of six franchises THQ wishes to bring back for some previously unannounced sequels.Farrell belted the titles he wanted to bring back almost as if he had them written down on a napkin: "Saints Row, Stuntman, which will be released this year, Juiced, which is a sequel to the product we launched a couple years ago, Destroy All Humans, MX, and my favorite, Red Faction." This is awesome! With Saints Row on it's way to the PS3, we might see a sequel fairly close to our completion of the first, unless he was referring to the PS3 version of the original. And Red Faction? Heck yes. The first one was a lot of fun. Never played the second. This is good news from THQ! Which game are you guys looking forward to seeing again from this list?

This day in age, good ideas aren' easily generated. So, if you had a decent franchise, you can't just give up on it. Red Faction was one of best FPS on the Playstation, I can't wait to see another chapter in the series.. . dang.. I never did get a chance to get RF2.

Both of the Red Faction games were some of the best FPSs on the console in my opinion, so I'm thrilled to see that the franchise is getting resurrected. I'll be really excited to see how well Geo-mod works with the PS3's power behind it. They actually made geo-mod a little less fun in RF2 in order to make the game run smoother. Instead of an explosion creating ruble that you could also interact with, pieces of walls simply sublimated. RF 1 let you do some really entertaining things, like take out sections of ceiling that would fall on another player or enemy.

Do you people even read the news before you "report" it? As pointed out by the first poster, that list is of the 6 original IPs owned by THQ which have sold over a million units. There is nothing stated about a sequel to any of them other than stuntman. Seriously, maybe you should actually investigate the news instead of cutting and pasting from ign, which is not exactly the most reliable of sources. That said, a sequal to red faction would be great, but don't hold your breath. It's been, what, 5 years since the last one? Oddly enough, I just finished the first one about 3 days ago. The game still holds up pretty good. Graphics are dated, but gameplay is solid.
